Renova introduce Kommers as single point of entry
In the autumn of 2016, the environmental group Renova, sourced a new system for procurement management, request management and contract management. The contract also included the subsidiary Renova Miljö AB. Renova thus have a single tool for managing contracts, procurement requests and purchase control.
Tommy Karlsson, Head of Strategic Purchasing and Procurement at Renova, explains:
"It was important for us to find a comprehensive system that can be the single point of entry, to facilitate our purchasing operations, Kommers will provide good support and efficiency in our procurement activities. Furthermore, Kommers have good solutions for searching and managing contracts, execute informal procurements and to submit requests for procurement, in case no appropriate agreement exist."
Even though many of Renova's owners already use Kommers, namely the municipalities of Ale, Kungälv and Tjörn, the deal is important for Primona's further expansion in the Gothenburg region. Ragnar Lindholm, Marketing manager at Primona explains:
